Prevent Ginkgo tree from bearing fruits?

The ginkgo tree in front of my house bears a lot of fruits (nuts) every year which have very bad smell. Can I spray something to prevent it from bearing fruits?

Ginkgo trees are diecious, meaning they have male and female reproductive parts on different trees. If yours is bearing fruit then its female. Your only solution is to replace it with a male.
